Trello is a collaboration tool that organizes your projects into boards. In one glance, Trello tells you what’s being worked on, who’s working on what, and where something is in a process.
We have been using Trello for a long time, but now we have migrated away from Trello to Monday.com to increase our reporting capabilities, to streamline our remote team management and improve client and account manager interaction/project efficiency.

From a business cost standpoint, using Trello with Zapier (the way we use it) costs us lots of money a month – and Monday.com has these automation features built in – saving time and cost. These are all really important things to consider when choosing your project management software! Trello may work better for you and your team, or you may find that Monday.com is the way to go.

Zapier is an online automation tool that connects your favorite apps, such as Gmail, Slack, Mailchimp, and more. You can connect two or more apps to automate repetitive tasks without coding or relying on developers to build the integration… Or you can have Zapier automate this for you, saving you time and effort.

Design Resources
✔ Adobe Creative Cloud
We can’t mention design resources without a shout out to Adobe Creative Cloud! It’s likely that you’ve heard of at least one Adobe’s programs if you work in Design, Media or Marketing, as apps like Photoshop, Premiere, and Lightroom are the industry standard for creatives.
Adobe’s individual program licences can add up price wise if you need more than one of them, so they have grouped together all of their programs for around $50.00 a month, this is what is known as Creative Cloud.
One of the programs we use the most is Photoshop, which we will tell you more about below.
✔ Adobe Photoshop
Photoshop is a critical tool for designers, web developers, graphic artists, photographers, and creative professionals. It is widely used for image editing, retouching, creating image compositions, website mockups, and adding effects. You can make pretty much any edit on photoshop, it does take some time to learn how to use everything, but once you have you won’t regret it. There are many different websites you can use to learn about Photoshop such as Udemy, Adobe Photoshop Tutorials, Photoshop Cafe and loads more!
✔ Canva

Canva is as easy as it gets, you do not need to be a graphic designer to understand Canva, it is definitely built more for beginners in comparison to Photoshop. Canva can be used for creating simple social media posts, simple pdf documents, simple gifs and videos and lots more:

✔ IMovie
IMovie is a video editing software application developed by Apple Inc. For macOS, iOS, and iPadOS devices. IMovie is a simple video editing software and is a lot like Canva in terms of it is the easier alternative to Adobe’s applications. If you’re a video editing wizz, Adobe Premiere Pro might be more your speed.

Just a quick tip for you, if you are designing a landing page NEVER use stock images for testimonials, this is one of the big pieces of advice we offer everyone as this will affect your level of social/trust proof.
The person in the stock image isn’t a real customer of yours, which is going to reflect really badly on you, take our advice and keep it real when it comes to reviews.

Mailchimp is a very popular email marketing platform. Its’ primary function is to send newsletters and automated emails to grow your business results. Email marketing lets you connect with your customers, engage with them and build meaningful, long-lasting relationships.
